The Study About Living Environment And State Of Overseas Returnees In Chinese Universities

With the growing of the quantity of overseas returnees and great desires of overseas talents from Chinese university/college, overseas returnees have become a big force to push higher education development forward in China. There would be highly realistic and practical meaning of deeply studying the living environment and state of overseas returnees in Chinese universities, and also how to improve the living environment and state would be useful too. The overseas returnees' history in recent century is the history background and base to overseas returnees in Chinese universities. Their living environment was analyzed, which based on the quantity of relative data and information of overseas returnees in Chinese universities. The inner and outer factor to impact overseas returnees in Chinese universities were studied through finding out the basic information of overseas returnees in 4 Shanghai universities, and also face to face interviews were did to analyze the re-adaptation status, scholar status and living status.Based on the studying mentioned, it was found that: outer factor would be a great factor to impact the living state of overseas returnees in Chinese universities, but inner factor is the key factor to impact the living state of overseas returnees in Chinese universities. The government should supply more convenient policy for youthful overseas returnees, and carry out the implementation policy. While the relative department in universities should change the management concept, set up the service consciousness for all teachers. They should take more attention to the growing of overseas returnees teachers, and overseas returnees teachers should adapt the mindset and behavior themselves to the changing environment and role character more quickly.
