Geography graphics, an important part of geography teaching knowledge is not only an enrichment and visual expression of geographic information but an important tool for learning geography as well. Map plays an important role in teaching and cannot be replaced by any languages or expressions. Geography graphics is also very important to help train students in their observation, thinking, memory and other capabilities. At present, the use of maps in geography teaching in secondary schools is still relatively weak. Teachers should be aware of maps combined with languages to guide learning, to teach students how to learn by reading maps, analyzing maps, using maps. We should also trigger the students to explore new ideas and build capacities by associating geographical knowledge, this is an important part of education in geography teaching.This paper is based on the quality of education, teaehing aecording to his ability, and Multi-dimensional intelligent theory. It's a research of the geographical map of the knowledge level of the teaching-learning. Study, we draw on the content of people's awareness of the map, according to map the contents of the extent and complexity of the general level of the map is divided into analytic type, combined type and integrated three kinds. A map of each separate but interrelated. The level of division of three types of maps no obvious boundaries.According to the features of analytical model map and declarative knowledge learning, we mainly adopt two kinds of teaching methods:direct explanation type and blackboard map reconstruction type so as to teach the direct presenting information of the map. For the finishing Features of the combined map knowledge, We take three teaching methods:reduced-form, decomposition-form and conversion type, Focusing on the realignment of map knowledge. However, for the highest level of comprehensive map, we can teach by analyzing the relationship among different kinds of knowledge and making use of mental map. The relationship among different kinds of knowledge mainly behaves as time and space. Teaching with mental map can be done from positioning, explaining map and combining graphics. This part is also a bright spot in this paper.This research only makes a division in the level of the map knowledge and describes the teaching methods. Other aspects of the teaching process and teaching effectiveness evaluation, however, have not been done.Through the experimental comparison, we believe that level of knowledge of teaching methods of the study about map will help students to learn the basic knowledge and ability, and is conducive to the implementation of quality education.Of course, in the actual implementation process, teaching methods referred to by the paper also facing great difficulties at the education atmosphere and in specific subject teaching process. These problems will be the main target to discuss and solve in the future.
