National Medium-and Long-Term Education Reform and Development Plan(2010-2020)proposes to respect the law of education and students' physical and mental development in teaching,and provide appropriate education for each student.At this stage,secondary and basic education in our country adopt class of collective teaching system mostly,teachers usually use the same standard to teach,which makes it difficult to improve the quality of teaching.In order to change the traditional teaching mode and improve the quality of geography teaching,author uses the SOLO classification to design the teaching framework and complete teaching,including stratification of students,teaching objectives,teaching process,assignments and teaching evaluation.Author analyzes the change of students' thinking level,academic performance and classroom learning through the date after the experiment.It can verify the rationality and effectiveness of this research.The main content of the article is as follows:Firstly,author expounds the source of the topic: the need of education reform,the need of geography teaching in middle school and the introduction of new methods;and summarizes the research status of SOLO classification and hierarchical teaching at home and abroad;indicates the purpose and method of this paper.It then explains the meaning of SOLO classification and hierarchical teaching;and classification summarizes the theoretical basis of the teaching practice of this paper.Secondly,author makes geography subjective questions and reference answers combine the characteristics of the SOLO classification,according to the student's answer,judge the thinking level before the student's teaching experiment,and the author will test students' academic performance and classroom learning.Then,the author designs the stratification steps according to the SOLO classification method,and combines the stratification steps with the teaching practice.To show the specific application and teaching feedback of the SOLO classification in the hierarchical teaching through teaching design,teaching implementationprocess and teaching evaluation.Finally,after the end of the teaching experiment,the author tests students' thinking level again,and combine the students' test scores with classroom learning to analyze the students' changes in various aspects after the experiment,summarizes the influence of the teaching experiment on the students.At the last,author proposes the research shortage and optimization strategies.The experimental data of hierarchical geography teaching in senior high school based on SOLO classification shows that:(1)The research can improve the efficiency of students' classroom learning effectively.It also enhance students' enthusiasm and motivation for learning geographical knowledge and solve the problem of geographical problems,and reduce the occurrence of bad behaviors in students' classrooms.(2)Compared with the control class,the proportion of different thinking levels of the experimental class changed greatly after the experiment,and the overall thinking level increased;Compared with before the experiment,after the experiment,the proportion of students with low thinking level in the experimental class is less than that of the control class,the proportion of students with high thinking level is higher than that of the control class.The difference of thinking level between the two classes is greater.(3)Compared with before the experiment,the number of low-segment students decreased,high-segment students increased after the experiment in the experimental class,and the gap between the average scores of the two classes increased.The improvement of the academic performance is more obvious in the experimental class;Compared with the control class,the number of high-level segments in the experimental class exceeded the control class after the experiment,and the number of failing people disappeared basically.(4)After the experiment,the students' thinking level and test scores of the experimental class were improved,and the bad behavior of the students in the classroom gradually decreased,even disappeared,and the teaching feedback was good.This shows that the design and process of this paper is reasonable and effective.This study provides a scientific standard for implementation of hierarchical teaching.It takes the students' thinking level as the starting point and respects the individual differences of students;In teaching,teachers can better implement the principle of teaching students in accordance with their aptitude,provide basic guarantees for the healthy development of students' physical and mental health,and further promote the development and improvement of students' thinking level and academic achievement.
