Research On Applications Of URP Educational Administration System

Teaching management is one of the basic works in colleges. Along with the rapid development of computer and network skills, as well as the consistent college teaching management system reform, teaching management is becoming more and more heavy and complicated. Traditional methods should be improved. At the same time, teaching work should be standardized, scientific and more advanced, efficient, precise.Using teaching management system pushed forward the college teaching management reform's progress. In the progress of educational informationization, borrowed the experiences of the informationization in other fields, combined college's characteristics, Tsinghai university put forward theory of college informationization building---"digital compus"and"URP(University Resource Plan)". the theory's goal is collecting various information system and resources, realizing the comprehensive informationization in education progress, finally enhancing educational quality and efficiency. During the building and popularization of digital campus, teaching management has experienced the transition from uni-processor version to network version with UPR comprehensive teaching management system as its core support system.This research subject was brought in the process of college teaching management informationazition. Based on how to promote college teaching management reform, this article did study on UPR teaching management's theory and practice focusing on applying UPR in college. First, this paper analyzed the problems of current situation of some teaching management systems mainly used in Chinese colleges and illustrated this paper's main work. Then, the author described the research foundation of URP teaching system and illustrated computer's function in teaching management, definition and features of digital campus and URP (University Resource Plan). In the next part, after comparing the C/S mode and B/S mode and combing current situation of digital campus building, the author put forward that teaching management system should use the two modes together. J2EE development platform also was briefly described. Based on the analysis, the author made detailed analysis of the performance of URP teaching management system. Then,"URP college teaching management system"developed by Beijing Qing Yuan You Ruan Inc. was introduced and its system function was described together with its applying situation in Shandong Institute of Education. Lastly, this paper illustrated the URP teaching system's application to sharing resource of digital campus, school work monitor, teaching assessment and teaching management reform.Staff of college teaching management should pay their attention on using modern skill and equipment, following scientific and effective management concepts. So the scientific modernization of college teaching management work, especially using comprehensive teaching management system under network environment plays a significant role in realizing school teaching management reform and is an efficient method for promoting work efficiency and management quality.
