With rapid development of higher vocational education, teaching quality of higher vocational colleges and universities receives the widespread attention day by day. Practical teaching is very heavy for the vocational school teaching. Improving practical teaching is the key to guaranteeing vocational colleges and universities the teaching quality. It is important for vocational colleges and universities to look for the accurate objective point in implementing quality management time. Also is, we must obtains from the process carries on the analysis. Therefore, the article devotes to systematically design practical teaching quality management system of vocational colleges and universities using process approach.The article first thoroughly analyzes the theory platform in order to provide theory basis to practice. It briefs the connotation of process approach staring from the process basic concept, and especially extends it applying to system approach. The article constructs the enterprise quality management system using process management mentality and analyzes the basic step and main application point that enterprise control quality using process approach.Then the article thoroughly analyzes how to establish practical teaching quality management system for higher vocational colleges and universities. It attempts to study the teaching quality control flow, plans the practical teaching process, discusses its quality guarantee frame and quality monitoring system, and constructs practical teaching quality management system based on process.Finally, the article takes Automation Engineering Department in Tianjin University of Technology and Education as an example, and analyzes the concrete measure and practice effect that vocational colleges and universities construct practical teaching quality management system using process approach.The article research innovation points are as follows: The article accurately grasps the objective point on quality management research of higher vocational colleges and universities. It throughout melts into the system approach to the research, takes it as instruction, and systematically recognizes and manages the process and mutual function between process in higher vocational colleges and universities. The article pays great attention to the serviceability on theory application, is not firmly imitates enterprise's procedure, but links to actual circumstance of school when controlling teaching quality.
