In recent years, the number of college graduates nationwide has been increased at double the speed each year, and the resulting employment problem of graduates has been received more and more attention from the society, it is even more severe especially in higher vocational colleges.To improve the employment rate of graduates from higher vocational institutions, the most important thing is to do the vocational guidance , however, vocational guidance course is the key means and methods of vocational guidance in higher vocational colleges, so the building of vocational guidance curriculum system becomes more essential.This study adopted literature retrieval, comparative analysis, questionnaire survey, individual interview and other methods, begun with a review of the history and the present career guidance and pointed out the main problems such as: late courses, fewer class hours; inflexible teaching methods, a single mode guiding, teaching content is not comprehensive enough, professional teaching staff lack of specialization, scientific, standardization and stabilization etc.The author proposed that: First, we should build a specialized teaching and research organizations in vocational guidance courses teaching activities, charging in the organization and implementation of the whole school career guidance curriculum. Secondly, we should strength the construction of teaching materials of vocational guidance curriculum. Thirdly, vocational guidance curriculum should follow scientific, professional principles, to achieve whole course and specialization. Fourthly, the curriculum should be scientific, comprehensive, detailed and practical so as to ensure all-round guidance to students. At the same time, vocational guidance classes should adopt flexible and diverse teaching methods, vocational guidance teaching staff should be specialized, standard, and sound. Vocational guidance should also be information management.The main thesis consists of four parts, the first part of the body of thesis introduced the main purpose and significance of the study. The second part analyzed the current situation and questions of career guidance curriculum system of higher vocational college in Inner Mongolia. The third part is the overview of foreign universities vocational guidance course, to provide some valuable experiences of foreign universities courses in vocational guidance. The fourth part is the construction of Inner Mongolia vocational colleges'guidance curriculum systems, give suggestions that improve vocational guidance courses in higher vocational colleges of our district.
