In contemporary society,reading has become the existent significance of every member in society and reading ability has become the basis for success.In the beginning of this century, a new round of Chinese curriculum reform proposed a new goal about Chinese reading and so teaching of Chinese reading have shown a new situation.However, the Chinese education research for students'reading ability is relatively slow.Existing studies are mostly speculative logic of experience and lack large-scale field research。Furthermore , the object of study concentrated in the school students of the Han regions and cities and research tools is not enough scientific and standardized. Chinese reading instruction calls for comprehensive scientific research results about students'Chinese reading ability.This investigation is based on the above issues. This paper is divided into five parts.The first part puts forward to the question and analyses the situation and clear the relevant concepts and related theories and lay the theoretical foundation for the study. The second part describes the study methodology, tools, samples, steps. The third part is the statistical analysis of the article about Chinese reading ability of students in Liangshan Prefecture and its possible influencing factors, reveal the true levels and influencing factors of the Chinese reading ability of students in Liangshan Prefecture. The fourth part of the article draw a clear conclusion of the study, try to put forward to the feasible suggestions about raising and enhancing the students'Chinese reading ability.The last part summarizes some of the major inadequacies of the study and put forward to the direction of research efforts in the future. The third and fourth part is the focus of this paper.
