| Through more than 20 years'development, non-governmental college has already been an important part of higher education in China. Due to the difference resources of each province, non-governmental college in China develops an unbalanced situation. For example, non-governmental college in Shaanxi province develops well, however, non-governmental college in Sichuan province is not as good as that of Shaanxi. Therefore, the writer sets the research target on the comparison of non-governmental college's development in Shaanxi and Sichuan province, uses Beredi's four-step Comparison comparing these two province's geographic, economic, cultural, policy factors; analyzing the reason why the gap happens and finally getting the conclusion and inspiration for the development of Sichuan non-governmental college.This thesis compares Shaanxi and Sichuan provinces'non-governmental college in four aspects:First, comparing these two provinces'present situation, the writer found non-governmental colleges in Shaanxi develop better than that of Sichuan from the aspects of developing size and level of training.Second, comparing these two provinces'objective factors, the writer found these two provinces'economic situation is alike but Shaanxi has a favorable geographic situation.Third, comparing these two provinces'local policy about non-governmental college, Shaanxi province's local policy develops longer and more mature than that of Sichuan and Sichuan is trying to catch up.Four, setting two specific non-governmental colleges one from Shaanxi province and one from Sichuan province for example, the writer found the college from Sichuan has a big developing gap to that of Shaanxi and the reason both from inner factors and outer factors.After comparing the present situation and the reason why there is a big gap between Shaanxi and Sichuan non-governmental colleges'development, the writer found that local policy and inner factor of non-governmental college are the two biggest reasons. At last the writer put forward the inspiration on the development of Shaanxi non-governmental college to that of Sichuan province. |
