Class is the most basic social organization in which schools conduct education and which in turn reflects the basic functions of schools in the most direct and intensive way. Therefore, class management is an important part in school management. Traditional ways of class management are endowed with sparkling wisdom in that they promoted students'healthy growth, yet not without some outdated drawbacks which constrained the development of school education in the new era.Increasing social progress is also accompanied by the rise of humanism, and quality education advocating humanism is gradually accepted by more and more people. The essence of the New Curriculum is to facilitate the growth of each individual student, which shall include their overall development, individual development and sustainable development. Curriculum Reform is justified by and intended for the beliefs of"humanism"and"Student-Oreinted Education". The foundation of new teacher-pupil relationship and curriculum management system would be democratization. The lifelong learning ability is seen as the fundamental way of life for future individual.Class is the basic element of the New Curriculum practice. The creation of an education model fit for each class is an important way to promote the overall ability of students. The key to achieve the goal of class management is to facilitate a better growth of individual student by taking advantage of the collective force of the class. In a class entity, the creation of a team with harmony, aggression and efficiency helps to the creation of a good-mannered, healthy and successful student. Our time necessitates the Class Management Model with express management goal and core beliefs of Self-help and Cooperation. Such model bears remarkable values. The key of the creation of such model can be summarized as"one central goal and two basic points". One central goal refers to the priority of Class Management goal while two basic points refer to the emphasis of Self-help and Cooperation. Self-help and Cooperation in class management, on the one hand, motivate independent learning, self-management and self-help by study of the motivation and needs of individual student (or the class) and by doing so achieve the goal of sound development of the students and the class; on the other hand, the cooperation between students (or classes) can promote such development by utilizing teamwork spirits. This thesis studies the values and theoretical support of Self-help and Cooperation Management Model, with emphasis on the content of such model and the basic goals and strategies to put such model. It also aims to conduct a multidimensional research characterized with the study of the determination of class management goal, three aspects of the Self-help model for the individual student (class) and three aspects of the Cooperation model between individual student (classes), so as to render an research on the specific goal, implementation process and strategy for the Self-help and Cooperation model meeting the requirements of the New Curriculum and hence to facilitate the sound development of the education in our school and a better practice of the education beliefs of"educating students with top priority given to cultivating their moral integrity".
