The balanced development of education is the strategy task of national compulsory education. It's important to narrow the gap of English education during the stage of elementary between urban and rural. Classroom teaching environment is the core of teaching quality. English teaching environment is a dynamic system between teachers and students. It includes the people (students and teachers), physical factors (classroom facilities, media, time, space and natural shape) and mental factors (discipline of the class, style of study and evaluation environment). These factors coexisting and restricts mutually. There is a gap between Rural English teaching environment and urban English teaching environment. The Strategy discussion on optimizing on rural English classroom environment will be useful for raising quality of English education of rural areas.This study selected teachers in Dianjiang district as the subjects. In order to under the current of rural English classroom environment, the author did the research from the respects of classroom teaching resources, utilize of classroom environment. Through the analysis of Tin Ka Ping Foundation Chongqing English Teacher Training Programme, the author gave some suggestions on optimizing on English classroom environment of rural middle school. The results showed that: Due to the lack of support from government and relevant education administration, physical environment of rural middle school is poor. Due to the lack of support from school leadership; the environment consciousness of English teacher is weak and the lack of parents'awareness for English education, humanities environment of rural middle school is also poor.This study included five chapters. The first chapter is the review of status quo of research at home and abroad. The second chapter is the research of the status quo of the rural English classroom environment, and the analysis of problems of existence. The third chapter probes into the basic theory through the respects from national education policy, new English Curricular Standard, language teaching theories and resource theories. The fourth chapter is the case study on Tin Ka Ping Foundation Chongqing English Teacher Training Programme. In the fifth chapter, the author gave suggestions on optimizing rural English classroom environment from the respects from government, social, school and teachers. Through this study, the author has certain knowledge of the current situation of English class teaching environment of rural middle school. It's an indisputable fact that there is a need of optimizing English class teaching environment. We should explore actively to search effective ways to optimize English class teaching environment of rural middle school. It's our inevitable responsibility to improve English teaching quality in rural school and narrow the gap between rural English education and city's.
