The film and television recourses are important resources in Chinese language teaching. This article focuses on the magnificence of the film and television resources in the Chinese language teaching in junior high school and the ways to make rational use. The article comprehensively analyses the function of video resources in the teaching of listening and speaking, the teaching of reading and writing and the language practice teaching, and actively builds a new model of Chinese teaching.The significance of this research shows in three aspects. Firstly, it is beneficial to enrich the theories of the Chinese language teaching in junior high school. The new course reform requires that the Chinese language teaching should not only perform the basic training to cultivate the students'ability to use language, but also gather literature, art, life and some others as a whole and benefit from the human's culture to make students achieve the makings of the Chinese language and the culture. To strengthen the research on the teaching of literature in film and television so as to follow the trend is conducive to build a new system of Chinese language teaching with the laws of audio-visual language. Secondly, it profits to improve the quality of the Chinese language teaching in junior high school. The film and Television resources by its unique charm stimulate the students'interest in learning, while also broaden the channels of the transmission of information, increase the information capacity in class and enhance the efficiency of studying Chinese. Thirdly, it is conducive to the comprehensive healthy development of the secondary school students. The new course standards take promoting the comprehensive development of students as the goal. The students'life is holistic, and it reflects in all aspects of life so it is necessary to look to the entire livelihood in order to improve the efficiency of Chinese education and promote the comprehensive development. Closely linked with the human livelihood, once the film and television resources are made good use of, they will promote the capacity development in humanistic quality, knowledge vision, aesthetic taste, reading comprehension, language expression and so on.This article is divided into four parts. In the first part, the author discusses the background on three aspects including the trend, quality education and the new course reform, in which the film and television recourses are used in the Chinese language teaching in junior high school. In the second part, the author sums up the significance of the film and television recourses in the Chinese language teaching through the analysis of their characteristics and educational function. In the third part, the author discusses the basic theories of using the recourses in teaching. In the third part, the most important one in this article, the author analyses the function of the recourses on the teaching of listening and speaking, the teaching of reading and writing and the language practice teaching, and builds a new model of Chinese teaching from reality.
