With the development of multimedia technology and network technology, distant education has stand out the foreland of educational reform and extended in educational areas with surprising depth and velocity. In order to enhance the teaching quality, we should construct perfect alternation system of distant education and try best to achieve the mutual communicate such as students between computers, students between students, teachers between students , teachers between teachers ,contents between contents, teachers between contents .This study used survey methods to study literature, combing the basic concepts and summing up the instructional interactive modes of modern distance education and the characteristics of them. Based the study we know a systematic summary of modern distance education in the instructional interactive modes. Of course we discussed in detail for their models and features of instructional interactive modes.On this basis,we analyse instructional interactive modes illustrated by the web-based educational courses published by Ministry of Education in 2008. We classify the Interactive tools Involved in the instructional interactive modes by content analysis and directing observation and analyse them application.This study reached the following conclusions about instructional interactive modes in Modern distance education : we need to improve the content of the exchange , we need to improve the process of evaluation, we should further apply web 2.0 technology.Based on the analysis in the investigation, we put forward the above questions aiming at improving measures and suggestions. In the last of this study we discussed prospects in diverse,scientific and integrated development in instructional interactive modes in Modern distance education.This study has certain referenced significance for instructional interactive modes in Modern distance education.
