The modern distance education is presenting vigorous development by the support of multimedia and network technology. As the main objective is focused on adult in-job students, the radio and television education should strengthen the education to applied talents by modern distance open education. But, distance open education is doomed that the teacher will mostly be separated from students, which consequently makes the communication between teach and student becomes un-controllable.This article is based on the action research. The targets are the students of the Website Making 05-Spring class in DaXing branch of Beijing Radio and Television University. We used many different methods such as individual study, questionnaire research, interview, observation, etc. The main contents are that to find the principle factors which impact the study of distance learner; how to make distance study plan; in which way to improve the communications; how to evaluate this interactive study, etc.During the research, by investigating the distance study progress of the learner, we found out the main factors which affect their studies, and we made reasonable plan for both face to face tutorship and distance tutorship. According to the materials, we defined the tasks phase by phase and composed evaluation proposal based on the face to face tutorship and distance study process. In accordance with this proposal, three rounds action research of distance interactive study driven by tasks were executed to improve and prove the effectiveness of this proposal.By the research, the author thinks that the main factors which impact interactive study are: the learner's study motivation; teaching strategy adopted by distance tutor; participating degree directed by the tutor; investigating learner's requirement before supplying the materials. The teaching strategies which are proper to this district and this class are: adopting flexible teaching method to satisfy the requirements of the students who are not convenient to use internet; using tasks to improve interactive study by which the students could be driven to use materials and to communicate with classmates and teachers in order to solve the study issues and increase the study efficiency; using evaluation to improve interactive study by making evaluation proposal which is based on studying process of the task driven students and which is focused on assessing student's studying progress; and finalizing this evaluation proposal. In the last, the author describes the limitation of this research and the ways to improve in the future.
