Since the new curriculum reform, the government attached great importance to primary school teachers'professional development in recent years. A whole-level in-service teacher training system was established and a series of training had been held and implemented. These initiatives contributed to a large extent of the professional development of primary school teachers. However, there are still many problems because the training models are the top-down, assigned and centralized ones. In response, many scholars suggest to draw the success experience from other countries for reference to enhance and improve the status of the professional development of teachers in China. The research is focused on how to draw the experience from others and what concerns need being considered when we draw from them.Based on the case study of Chengdu F Primary School, the research is focused on the Pilot Implementation of Romania"Mentoring Activity"for Primary School Teachers'Professional Development. The research conducts the literature studies and analysis about Romania Mentoring, including mentoring work mechanism, the implementation conditions and effects, and so on. From the perspective of whole procedures of the pilot implementation, this research tries to investigate and analyze the situations of the pilot activity.As a mentoring activity for school-based teachers'professional development, the research discovers that Romania"Mentoring Activity"has achieved some benefits at the pilot at Chengdu F Primary School, such as increasing training chances, providing relevant training contents, offering continuous guidance and help for teachers and improving the development of teachers and the school. However, there are still many problems both at the operational level or the system level. The reasons caused these problems are various, such as ideas and concepts of conflicts, the implementation condition of"Mentoring"not matching to the existing conditions and national policies or mechanisms.According to the features of Romania"Mentoring Activity"and the actual conditions of F School, the measures have been taken to ensure the success drawing from"Mentoring", as to place the"Mentoring"into specific education background of the school, put differences into full consideration, make reflections based on the specific condition, correct mentality adjustment and make corresponding strategies.When comparing the difference about the education system home and aboard, we should not only learn from the success experiences of other countries to improve ours, but also explore an attitude for doing so, that is to say, we understand the difference between nationalities, we respect the culture of others, we learn the good parts of others, but more than this, we explore our best way for our own development.
