The Geography of new curriculum standard states that "geography class should provid students the geographical knowledge about the world around with their closely related life, focusing on basic geographical knowledge and skills to enhance the viability of the students." The most the concept of Geography Curriculum reform emphasized that "learning the useful geography for students'life." We train the students all the living in an environment of social life, no matter what kind of work they will have in future, they have to face the inevitable reality of life, so enhancing their life and ability to survive is very important.Accordancing with the relevant educational theories, combining with today's curriculum reform,taking geography teaching as a medium,in order to contain the geographical course of the disaster education as knowledge-based ,by theory and practice, the disaster education and geography education in the interactive relationship analysis, induction and explanation, this article put forward in Geography Teaching into the Disaster educational point of view. Article is divided into six parts,it elaborate the theoretical foundation ,background, significance of disaster education, necessity, and possibility of the Integration of disaster education and geography education.It also elaborates how to make full use of the advantages of geography course in secondary schools, basing on teaching materials, develop teaching materials, from curricular to extra-curricular, from theory to practice, to strengthen teaching in the geography of disaster education for students.Geography Curriculum should fully reflects the "people-oriented" thinking and humanistic care spirit, to teach students "learn to survive," and making students to raise survive awareness of viability, "learning for life useful to the geographical", "learning on the lifelong development of useful geography", "Training students geographic literacy necessary. " The implementation of a true quality education can promote curriculum reform process. I hope that these studies operability can give some inspiration and help to geography teaching and geography new curriculum reform.
