China is one of the countries in the world where natural disasters occur frequently and have various types of disasters.Although there have been some research achievements in disaster education,there are still some problems,such as insufficient teaching intensity,less research on disaster situation and inflexible use of relevant videos.After sorting out and analyzing the existing literature and research results,and combining with the current research progress and existing problems,the research contents of this paper are determined to include the following aspects :(1)Why has disaster teaching in high school geography teaching not been highly emphasized and effectively implemented?(2)How to explore and deal with disaster video resources that are highly compatible with high school geography teaching content?(3)How to use and make good use of disaster videos in regular geography teaching in high schools?(4)How to improve the intensity of disaster teaching in high school geography routine teaching through disaster situation.Questionnaire survey was used to investigate the current situation of high school students from the aspects of disaster knowledge,skills and awareness.The results showed that :(1)the concept cognition was unclear and the knowledge connection was poor;(2)The willingness to learn is more positive,and the emotional attitude is not serious enough;(3)The awareness of disaster is not keen enough,and active learning needs to be improved;(4)Poor mastery of disaster prevention skills and low expectation of disaster prevention practice.A survey was conducted on high school geography teachers from the aspects of the status quo,attitude and suggestions of the use of disaster videos in situational teaching.The results showed that :(1)the teachers' cognition of disaster documents was shallow,and their attention to disaster education was low;(2)The recognition of disaster situation is high,and the balance of teaching time is a common concern of teachers;(3)Pay attention to the authenticity of disaster videos,and there are many problems in the use of videos;(4)Less practice of disaster situation teaching and inflexible use of disaster videos.In addition,through interviews with teachers,it is found that some teachers are greatly influenced by the exam-oriented education thought and think that the regular teaching should focus on the college entrance examination.There are also many problems such as obstructing factors in disaster teaching practice.Practice to find problems and the research content,using the study method and case analysis,combined with disasters video,respectively by the "winter of the northern hemisphere summer air pressure center" and "global climate change" for specific teaching practice and study and achieved good practical effect,such as connecting between students of knowledge,improved,but also lack of the accumulation of life common sense,How much the students' awareness and attitude of disaster have improved,and how comprehensive they are when considering disaster prevention.According to the practical results,the theoretical basis model of disaster situation teaching is constructed,the feasibility of using disaster video to carry out disaster situation teaching is demonstrated,and the strategy of using disaster video to carry out disaster situation teaching is proposed and summarized.Finally,some suggestions on the selection principles,treatment methods and teaching application of disaster videos are put forward for further research by experts and scholars as well as teaching reference by front-line teachers.
