New Course promotes exploration in class, which helps the students improve their scientific literacy, change the methods of study and accelerate their innovation ability. So teachers should take it seriously that a class should be carefully designed if they want to put exploring teaching in practice, while the traditional way couldn't meet that need both from theory to practice. So it is necessary and meaningful to do the research.To begin with, New Course calls on the students to change their ways of study, thus it is necessary that the teachers should diverse their way of teaching. It is also required that the teachers should try their best to make the students learning actively and realize exploring teaching of laboratory-based. It also can help the students to experience the process of knowledge formation through activities; consequently they will form the system of knowledge.According to the documents home and abroad about the exploring teaching, especially on chemistry, the researchers merely aim at theories of teaching pattern and method instead of the design of chemistry teaching in class, making it impractical in the actual teaching.United the theory of Discovery Study Ways, constructivism and modern teaching, we can find the basic factors of exploring teaching: to create a situation, to raise a question, to explore, to evaluate as well as to express and communicate and research the condition in which the students can make effective exploration.How can we develop the efficient exploring teaching? The paper mainly talks about the principles and strategies: the teachers should choose a topic that is familiar to the students, based on the experience of them, and the teachers also should choose and create different situations in terms of the content and their students, such as questions, thoughts and activities to spring the desire and passion to study. The students can be divided into groups to raise possible questions, suppose and design an experiment to check and then draw a conclusion. Focusing on the experiment and centering in the question, the exploring teaching approves of democracy, equality and opening in class, reflecting the subjectivity, initiative and co-operation of the students.Just as what are mentioned above and the actual situation of teaching, the article tries to talk about the basic patterns of how to design classes under New Course: Group study and circulate study in the process of exploration. The pattern makes it stand out that study should be exploring and constructive and teaching should be concentrated on process, counterchange and opening. On the other hand, it combines knowledge and skills, ability and attitude towards the efficient methods. All in all, it realizes the final purpose of New Course.The article designs two teaching plans to show the theory of New Course: one is Cl2 and the other is C6H6. The two designs are complete and operating and the cases in class deeper the understanding of the exploring teaching of high school chemistry. The questionnaires and the statistics are proven by the teachers and the students. As a result, the students have changed their way of study and they take great interest in chemistry learning as well as their ability. And the students lead a trend that they take an active part in study.As for the conclusion, the paper also takes the resource of teachers, the facilities in the school and the system of evaluating into consideration. The exploring teaching is effective in culturing students. Finally, the author expresses the hope for a better future!...
