With the advent of the era of globalization, the contemporary Chinese society has gradually became the pattern of multi-cultural co-existence. They are traditional culture and modern culture, Eastern culture and Western culture, mainstream culture and non-mainstream culture, urban culture and rural culture , local culture and so on. Multi-cultural has become an important historical background of Kindergarten Education, and concerned about multicultural education is becoming a worldwide trend towards. In the process of globalization of education, we should strive to understand our own cultural roots, cultivate cultural self-esteem of children, and on this basis, maintaining equality and open mind, understanding of cultural diversity, identity of cultural differences, let children have cultural respect consciousness. Curriculum design is the way of educational theory into practice, multicultural education into the teaching activities through curriculum design. Teachers'multi-cultural awareness and reasonable preparation of project, are the conditions to achieve the educational activities of multi-cultural. This research consists of five parts:Part one: To elucidate the origination, the purpose , the significance and the methods of research. On the basis of define the concept, analysis the inadequate of curriculum design of our kindergarten;Part two: To elucidate the value orientation and eidos of multicultural education in kindergarten;Part three: From the perspectives of ages, type of activities, learning areas, we statistics and analyze the distribution of cultural ecology of and by content analysis;Part four: To assess multi-cultural concept of some kindergarten teachers by questionnaire survey. Describe the actual state of the teachers'multi-cultural awareness, and revealed the problems.Part five: We gave some suggestions about preparation of teaching materials for kindergarten and teachers under the multi-cultural values. And tried to construct the design ideas of kindergarten curriculum from the perspectives of lifestyle, personalized and integratied.
