The high development of Information Technology brings more deeply changes to education. Information Literacy as one kind of basic literacy of people, achieve more attention in every field of the world. Normal students are the future teachers, they will undertake an arduous mission of future fundental education. Their information literacy directly connect to the development of Informative education and the cultivation of creative talents. So the society demand more highly information literacy of normal students. Information Literacy of normal students include four parts: information consciousness, information knowledge, information ability and information morals. Normal students must step by the times, raise their information literacy, only that, they can fit society development and times acquirements. Big6 as a popular pattern of information literacy cultivation in home and abroad bring us practicable method. Applied Big6 in teaching practice is significant for our country's information literacy education.This paper aims to test the importance and effect of Big6 in information literacy cultivation and teaching. The practice result indicate that teaching based on Big6 not only arouse students' interest, improve the teaching effect, but also enhance students' information literacy, especially information skills. At the same time, this paper point out some difficulties in practice, and giving some suggestion in future effort.The paper have five section:the first part tells the theory and method using in the paper, such as the concept, content structure, evaluation standard of information literacy and some theory of Big6. the second part is about the investigation of normal students' information literacy, and the assessing of the researching result. The third and forth part is the design and teaching experiments of Big6 in modern education technology curriculum, the two parts are the most key part in this paper.The last part is the conclusion and self-examination, analyzing and giving some effective measures to solving the problems.
