Campus Network Management System Based On Smnp

As the scale and complexity of network increasing, network management plays a more important role in computer network system. The rapid development of network technology require network management is not only flexible , convenient , effective , but also have the character of Intelligence, which can independent , self-adaptive, cooperative work . The network management based on IA has this character , it is current of the future network management .In this paper, we presents network management, network management protocol, Intelligence Agent as well as related theory about JAVA . According to the practical environment of TYUT campus network , we describe in detail the design and implement of a network accounting system based on IP . The accounting system adopt JAVA , which is a popular network programming language . The accounting-related MIB data are collected from the router using SNMP, and are processed every day . Processed data are added into the accounting database. Using ASP technology , the system provide network user the accounting results query based on WEB. The system has the character of cross platform.
