Under the background of globalization, the diversity of human culture andcultural heritage issues brought to the attention of the scholars from all walks of life.China’s rapid development in social economy, people is also began to have theself-awareness and introspection consciousness for their own traditional culture. Theprotection of intangible cultural heritage is on this basis to activate and strengthen theawareness of our side "visible" and "invisible" of cultural property. In2008, YunnanYi (Sani) embroidery was officially listed as the second batch of national intangiblecultural heritage. This on the one hand is to let the precious traditional folk art can bebetter pass along, on the other hand is also in order to let our people have culturalself-consciousness.This paper try to through an angle, cut to the Sani embroidery life, restore thelife of the folk art, to find the problems, and restore its vitality. The uniqueness ofnational folk art, aesthetics and so on,are all the representative of the culturalfeatures, thus more worthy of us to research and found the problem. Only from theway of form to the form discussion, does not well interpret the problem itself, so inthis paper, combining the field investigation, through to the Yunnan Shilin County,XiaoJing, WuKeShu, AZhuoDi three Yi village, comparison of the embroidery artand analysis of the sales market crowd, ask questions for traditional handicraft oftheir current living conditions and its development model, attempt to reveal the morediversified way of life of the traditional folk arts and crafts under the current socialbackground.
