Abstract:Popular dance is popular in a period of time, it was widely imitated, chasing the dance form. In this paper, using the method of literature, logical analysis method, questionnaire survey method to carry on the discussion to the popular city of Chengdu University dance development present situation and development of value. This paper selected in8in Sichuan University, Sichuan Normal University, Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, Southwest University for Nationalities, Southwest Jiao Tong University, Chengdu University, students and teachers questionnaire issued. The author has done some research on these a few schools popular dance course.Based on the popular dance curriculum value is discussed, The article thinks that the popular dance courses, with aesthetic value, cultural value, health value, education value and economic value.
