The Acariye Dance of Dali Bai People is a rare exist Buddhist Dance Tech in China, as theedge type of art intersect between Buddhism and Dali Bai People’s traditional folk songs anddances.It is not only the products of combinations in Buddhism rituals and traditional folk songsand dances, but also is the typical case of Buddhist art localization, which is worth researchacademic and cultural valuable resources. However, the current domestic and internationalresearch on the topic of Buddhist music and dance of the Dali Bai is very few, so this paper willfill research gaps in Buddhist art dance of minority in Southwest China.Throughout the entirety,the spread of any culture(including Buddhism and its arts) is not aone-way propagation spread, but in multi-directional, multi-level, multi-dimensional ofthree-dimensional interactive communication.Since the special geographical and historicalreasons, Dali forming a complex folk art and culture. And with the development of religious(mainly Buddhist), the folk art and culture of Dali spread gradually into the nation’s artisticcharacteristics. The paper tries to analysis the background and the survival of the art form of dance,based on the previous relevant research literature with my fieldwork material, and explore thedance of the localization process of Dali Bai from both longitudinal and transverse culturalhistorical changes of course, spy Dali Bai Acariye dance associated with neighboring countriesand regions, such as folk art. To further reveal the propagation of Buddhism in Dali Bai music anddance, and talk about its future development trend of slightly humble opinion.
