Gratitude as the virtues of the Chinese tradition, has been concerned since ancient times. Well-known saying and aphorism, such as"Drop the boon of the water, be to flow out spring to report mutually","Claw me and I will claw thee","Being kindness" etc. It showed Chinese has a long and traditional reflection about gratitude. But there has less involved in psychological research about gratitude. Firstly, our research has study the gratitude behavior theory, find out the Chinese perception of gratitude behavior systematic at present, try to enrich the connotation of positive psychology. In laboratory experiments, our study qualitatively define the gratitude behavior of empirical research, expand the research strategy. Predecessors’ research also focus on the influence factors of gratitude behavior theory, it thinks gratitude behavior affected by owe emotions and giver of expectations, but most theory remain in the theoretical stage. In the mean time, a sense of using situational experiment, influenced by great social desirability, to make the differences between gratitude and owe emotions. In the past there is no experimental evidence directly measured gratitude behavior. This study used the experimental method by playing a game, to a certain extent, it avoids the influence of social desirability. It has a practical significance. For educators, after define the presentation of gratitude behavior, they can organize various kinds of activities, guide students to differentiate and express gratitude behavior. Also according to the influencing factors of gratitude behavior, the study conforms to the students physical and mental characteristics and its law of development of gratitude, gratitude behavior teaching plan and teaching goals. Using gratitude guide the gratitude behavior, let pass gratitude behavior, jointly build a harmonious social atmosphere.This research adopts literature method, the depth interview method and experimental method. First, interviews with a typical "gratitude" little story as the background. Secondly, use the interview outlines to explore the expression of respondents gratitude behavior. Then design two experiments to study the effect of gratitude behavior factors. Experiment1:32subjects were selected randomly, using two factors between subjects design. One independent variable is a degree of goodness, the great favor and small favor. The other independent variable is where by grace condition, divided into by grace and not by grace. The dependent variable as the subjects of gratitude mood, gratitude behavior. Experiment2:randomly selected from36subjects, using two factors between subjects design. One independent variable is whether to induce explicit sense of indebtedness, two levels are induced by explicit owe feeling and does not induce explicit owe feeling. The other independent variable is whether asking for return, two levels are asking for return and don’t ask for return. Dependent variables are feelings of indebtedness, gratitude emotion and gratitude behavior. Research results show that:1. The expression of gratitude behavior depending on the vehicle, divided into the spirit of the intangible and tangible material, invisible gratitude behavior is mainly refers to give praise, encourage, verbal praise, promotion or provide better social development opportunity, etc. The tangible material gratitude behavior refers to award the physical objects such as money.2. Gratitude behavior affected by grace size. With the increase of grace, gratitude behavior increase, F(1,28)=6.60,p<0.05.3. Gratitude behavior whether owed by recipients and donors ask for return. With indebtedness increase, gratitude behavior increase. Recipient who induce indebted feeling showed more gratitude behavior than without induce indebted feeling, F (1,28)=6.60, p<0.05. Asking for return compared with not asking for return, gratitude emotion get down, gratitude behavior reduce, F (1,28)=9.25, p<0.01).
