Language and culture are always inseparable; I believe that a successful Chinese teacher should be able to create an effective teaching environment that will reflect traditional Chinese culture. Chinese health-preserving culture has a long history and rich contents; it combines knowledge of Natural sciences, Social sciences and the Humanities. The traditional Chinese health preservation culture is really unique, it has made a huge contribution to protect and improve the health of the Chinese nation. Chinese health-preserving culture is very closely related to people’s lives, this field of knowledge contains a wide variety of interesting topics for classroom discussion, so I have chosen Chinese health-preserving culture as a method for introducing traditional Chinese culture to the Russian students majoring in Chinese language, which should also play an important role in promoting traditional Chinese culture and improving students’Chinese level proficiency.I believe that the 《Chinese health-preserving culture》 curriculum has both theoretical and practical value for teaching Chinese culture, especially practical value, this curriculum will not only help to increase the student’s interest in learning Chinese, but also broaden their minds, allow them to gain rich cultural experience in practice. This course will as well contribute to the spread of Chinese culture in Russia. In this thesis I promoted the idea of the 《Chinese health-preserving culture》 curriculum designed for Russian students majoring in Chinese language. First, the author provided an over view of the literature on this topic and the scientific value of the research, then according to the theory of curriculum design described such important aspects of design as the demand research, curriculum content, curriculum goals and objectives, analysis of students, teaching strategies and curriculum evaluation. Finally, as an outcome of the research the author provided two lesson plans with language materials and a table of contents.
