Cultural learning is essential to using language as a communicative ability. Tea etiquette is an important part of Chinese culture. The author analyzed the Russian students’ awareness of the Chinese tea etiquette through survey and found that most of Russian students interest to the etiquette of Chinese tea. It is clear that a proper increase of tea etiquette in cultural teaching tea course will not only allow students to know Chinese culture more deeply, but also can enhance students’ interest in learning. Therefore I believe that teaching Chinese tea etiquette were would have positive significance for Russian students.The author has collected some information on Sino-Russian languages and behaviors of tea etiquette. According to the comparison between the two countries, we have found that the two nations with rich language have both exhibited their unique tea etiquette behaviors. The author studies the Russian cultural content textbooks concerning the investigation of Russian tea etiquette and students’ awareness of tea etiquette. The Russian students are generally interested in Chinese tea etiquette, but the TCFL’s coursebooks rarely discuss the tea rituals. Since students are interested in Chinese tea rituals, we should increase the teaching content on tea culture, so the author have made a profound analysis in tea etiquette teaching principles, teaching methods, teaching content, and tea etiquette lesson plans designed to explore the most appropriate teaching method on tea etiquette for Russian overseas students. Through learning Chinese tea etiquette in the process of learning Chinese language, the Russian overseas students will have a full appreciation of the profound Chinese culture.
