On The Acquisition Of Modal Adverbs

The adverb are relative complicated parts in modern Chinese language. Taking "zhen"、"tai"、"duo (duo me)"、zui"、"ke" five words as examples, this paper carries a research on degree-modal adverb. We name the adverbs which not only indicate degree but also indicate tone as degree-modal adverbs. Based on the analysis and comparison of inter-language and native Chinese language materials, we focus on the study of the errors that language learners made and try to explain the reasons. According to the research, we make proposals on the teaching of degree-modal adverbs, hoping to make a contribution to CSL Pedagogy.The paper includes six parts:Chapter one introduces the theoretical significance, the value of Chinese language teaching、the research object、train of thought、method、 relative research summary etc.Chapter two focuses on the study of five words-"zhen"、"tai"、"duo(duome)"、"zui"、"ke", gives a concrete description and definition of degree-modal adverb.Chapter three investigates the interlanguage(about half a million) and native Chinese language (about half a million) material by the use of quantitative analysis method. We tentatively conclude the acquisition order of language learner.Chapter four counts up the number of errors and classifies the errors into "syntactic-semantic error"、"syntactic-pragmatic error"、"multi-category error"、According to the reason for the errors、outputs from foreign students, we come up with the acquisition order.Chapter five synthesizes the result of our study、curriculum arrangement、textbook compilation and put forward some teaching suggestions and countermeasures.Chapter six summarizes the studies and relative conclusions and points out the deficiency in the study.
