As the most typical "causative" expression,"jiao、rang、shi、ling" sentences are most familiar to foreign students. Japanese students are very easy to be influenced by their mother languages in learning Chinese "causative" expression. What’s more,"jiao"、"rang"、"shi"、"ling" sentences are similar in syntactic structure and meaning, and the explanations are very simple in the Chinese grammar books, so Japanese students are often make errors. At the same time, in the books, there are no comparison between "jiao、rang、shi、ling" sentences and other sentences. Therefore, Japanese students are often confused with "jiao、rang、shi、ling" sentences and "ba" sentences、"bei" sentences、"gei" sentences. This has no good for teaching Chinese to Japanese students.This article combines the previous views, makes contrastive analysis between "jiao"、"rang"、"shi"、"ling","jiao、rang、shi、ling" sentences and other kinds of sentences, to find the same points and different points between Chinese "causative" expression and Japanese "causative" expression. Except these, the article collects the Japanese students’ errors about "jiao、rang、shi、ling" sentences, summarizes the causes of errors, and gives suggestions for teaching Japanese students’"causative" expression. We hope to provide some valuable references for teaching Chinese to Japanese students.
