Teenagers are always the research focus of developmental and educationalpsychology,this study selects the Meta-Mood of teenagers as the breakthrough point,and explores the relationship between the alienation and social support,as well astries to reveal the potential link among them,so as to provide a useful reference forschools Meta-Mood training. Firstly, we revise the middle school studentsMeta-Mood questionnaire,and find all the results of the item analysis,exploratoryfactor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis are good, indicating the revised24items questionnaire has a good reliability and validity. Then we test947middleschool students by using the middle school students Meta-Mood Questionnaire,Adolescent Alienation Scale and Social Support Questionnaire,and explore the statusquo of meta-mood, alienation and social support and relevant influential factors.Finally, we explore the relationship among the meta-mood, alienation and socialsupport of middle school students. In sum up, some conclusions can be made asfollows:1.The revised Meta-mood Questionnaire reaches the psychometric standards,and can be used for testing the middle school students. The questionnaire includesfive dimensions and24items: emotional expression (5items), emotional control (5items), emotion recognition (5items), mood forecast (4items), and emotionalexperience (5items). All above said five dimensions have good reliability andvalidity, can be selected as an effective measure tool for students’ Meta mood.2. The Meta-Mood and social support level of middle school students are abovethe middle one, but their senses of alienation levels are slightly lower than middleone.3. The development characteristics of middle school students’ Meta-Mood are asfollows: the girl’s sores of emotion recognition and regulation are significantly higherthan those of boys; the scores of minority students are significantly higher than thoseof Han students in emotion recognition. To the dimensions of meta-mood, urbanstudents’ scores are significantly higher than those of rural students. To the expression, recognition, feeling experience and total score, the scores of class cadresare significantly higher than those of non-class cadre students, and the scores ofstudents living with others are significantly higher than those of their classmatesliving with parents. In the expression, regulation, identifying and anticipating, thegrade differences reach significant level. In the expression, regulation, foresight andexperience, the school performance differences also reach significant level. Finally, inexpression, recognition and experience, father’s education level shows somesignificant differences; the mother’s educational level indicates some significantdifferences in regulation, recognition and experience. In the foresight and experience,the differences of economic situation of the family also reach significant level.4. To the total scores of Middle school students’ sense of alienation, the results showsignificant differences in nationality, family structure, with whom to live, grade,performance, and father’s education degree.5. To the score of social support of middle school students, the results indicatesignificant differences in the family structure, class and non-class cadre, with whomto live, grade, school performance, and family economic status.6. Significantly, the middle school students’ meta-mood positively correlate withsocial support, the meta-mood negatively correlate with the sense of alienation, andthe alienation negatively associates with social support. Regression analysis showsthat the middle school students’ meta-mood, sense of alienation are significantpredictors for social support, and alienation plays a partial mediating role betweenmeta-mood and social support. Validating and amending the model by usingAmos18.0software. The revised model fitting degree reaches statistical standards,and confirms that the alienation plays a mediating role between meta-mood and socialsupport. Finally, the results of path analysis also show that alienation plays anintermediary role in meta-mood and social support.
