With the school bullying events exposured in the online media continuously,we see that those bullied students not only suffered the verbal humiliation,but also subjected physical abuse,so it caused a lot of damage to their physical and mental.There was nobady to stop when these students are bullied,people around their who were bullied was either cold eyes to watch what happened or followed to ridicule the bullied students,and bullied students themselves did not have much resistance.Based on this,the study examined the relationship between social support,self-esteem and school bullying in middle high school students through questionnaires.By applying the stratified method and random sampling method,1000 questionnaires are distributed in the middle school of Urumqi,collected 918 valid questionnaires to investigate the basic status of social support,self-esteem and school bullying with SPSS16.0.The questionnaire was used to analyzed the basic situation of social support,self-esteem and school bullying.The relationship between auy two of them,and further explored the existence of the intermediary model of the three.The main conclusions are as follows:1.The self-esteem and social support of junior high school students are generally good,and there is little bullying in school.2.Self-esteem was significantly positively correlated with the total score of social support and the dimensions of self-esteem,it means that the more self-esteem in the middle school students they have,the higher social support they will have;self-esteem was significantly negative correlated with the total scores of school bullying and the dimensions of school bullying,it means that the more self-esteem in the middle school students they have,the lower school bullying they will have possibility;social support and school bullying was significantly negative correlation,even in thier different dimensions,it means that the more and stronger social support in the middle school students they have,the lower school bullying they will have possibility.3.Social support plays a mediating role in self-esteem and school bullying.The influence of self-esteem on school bullying is partly achieved through social support.Students with high levels of self-esteem,coupled with strong and effective social support,are less likely to be bullied,and can be more quickly reduced or even eliminated if they are bullied and assisted by social support.Based on the conclusions above,we gave different suggestions to the relevantpersonnel of school bullying from different angles,hoping that they can take their own measures to reduce the possibility of such malignant events happening again,and finally we can completely eliminate the occurrence of school bullying.Developing a good school atmosphere,to ensure that every student can enjoy a happy school life.
