The Influence Of Emotion And Involute Personality Types On Risk Decision

Recently, the study about Venture Capital has been attracting great attention ofmany psychologists. They have developed their studies from diverse perspectives,which give a great amount of valuable research data. Based on the former researches,this study classified the related variables that influence the VC, and did further studythrough analyzing emotion, risk decision and personality type. In the literature review,the writer try to make a division of emotion, risk decision and personality type.What’s more, the theoretical studies of risk decision, the factors that influences riskdecision, the paradigm of risk decision, and the recent progress in emotion,personality and risk decision have been summarized in the first part. The literaturereview provides fundamental bases for the empirical study.The first experimentstudies the influence of emotion on the risk decision, meanwhile, the second onemeans to develop the study through another variable, the inside and outsidepersonality. The research findings are as follows:1.The influence of emotion to risk decision is significant. When people are in posi-tive mood, they tend to take risks. Otherwise, they are more inclined to evade from ri-sks.2. The influence of gender to risk decision is significant. Male are more adventure-ous while females are less adventurous.3. No matter in positive or negative mood, males are more inclined to take risksthan females. Males are more adventurous in positive mood, while females show nogreat differences with the influence of emotion.4.Personality does influence people’s risk decision. Extrovert personality are moreadventurous, introvert personality are less adventurous.5.When in positive mood, there is no valuable difference among different type ofpeople. While, in negative mood, people tend to evade from risks, especially for thosepeople who are not extrovert and introvert.
