Zhou Lvjing, a lower-middle-class literati in JiaJing and WanLi period of Ming dynasty, author of YiMenGuangDu, JinJianJi, etc. So far, studies of the comprehensive study of Zhou Lvjing are very rare, which is considered as quite a pity.The purpose of this paper is mainly focused on the comprehensive research of Zhou Lvjing’s life experience, friends and works. The first chapter is his living biography, in which objectively reveals his personal life experience by extensively accumulating and organizing the materials on Mr. Zhou in many books, local Chronicles and notes. The second chapter is mainly about his writing research. In this part, this paper examines and explores the writing situation firstly and after that, it tells his literary achievements as well as the historical value and era characteristics which his literary works reflects from compiling, contents and value to research, by studying his two most famous work---YiMenGuangDu and FuHaiBuYi.The third chapter inspects his social activities through all sorts of relevant records of friends. By studying and exploring YiMenGuangDu as well as the data of calligraphy inscription and heritage related works involved in the Ming and Qing literati on him, this paper will mainly focused on the systematical discussion of the mode of communication and important friends which can be regarded as a system according to their identity, age and domicile of origin. This paper talks in-depth about Zhou Lvj ing’s motive and effect of making so many friends by visiting and travelling. Finally is the conclusion, it makes an extensive summary and comprehensive evaluation on his writings, friends and himself.
