A Study On The Belief System Of The Gods In

There are more records about folk beliefs of China history, but it is divergent about the understanding of folk belief.This paper is based on the fieldwork in Chongqing Echi village, the author analysis the folk beliefs of the village which have the different minority, describe and analysis local folk beliefs and gods, and the gods of affiliation with the villagers living.The author wanna construct and explore the belief system of Echi village.This paper is divided into two parts. The first part is an introduction, it’s the main statement of the research status at home and abroad for Chinese folk beliefs and the problems. The second part is the text. The first section describes several aspects geographical environment, socio-economic, history and culture.etc. The second section is the presentation of the gods beliefs of Echi village, ancestor worship, witchcraft beliefs, nature worship, cemeteries and other major aspects of worship. The third section on maarrige and funeral goose pood village as an example, describes both reflects the worship of ancestors and spirits worship, briefly discusses the relationship between the goose pond village folk beliefs and life of the people.The fourth section is about the "Xianghuo" and the cemetery tombstones, and discusses the"Xianghuo" and the cemetery are actually numerous gods and the gods of space activities and games, which revolves around the "home", showing a belief among the villagers goose pond " Family-Centripetal force " features. The fifth chapter is mainly based on its previous classification system, the author describe the system of the Echi folk beliefs.I believe that the Echi village gods belief is based on ancestor worship and the expansion and conversion of supernatural belief patterns. Their faith has the typical Chinese traditional "Family-Centripetal force" features.
