A Study Of Russian - Chinese Translation

The theory of translation variation and complete translation constitute a new category of translation.The distinguishing standard is the degree of integrity retaining original content and form.The system of translation variation contains selective translation, edited translation, reported translation, condensed translation, summarized translation, review, translation and comment, adaption translation, translation and writing, explanatory translation, refenrence translation and imitative translation. Adaption translation is the method of translation variation strategy “adaption”.Adaption translation is a kind of translation variation. It changes original form,content in part and style based on special need. Adaption translation contains changes in content,form and style. Adaption translation can eliminate the cultural barriers, meet specific readers’ special need,quicken the spread of information.At present, there are few researches on adaption translation.Based on abundant examples,this paper makes definition, units, processes, methodologies, principles and functions of adaption translationclear,forms scientific theory frame and definition system,structures relatively whole method system of adaption translation by comparison and analysis.The study on adaption translation is aimed at helping people form definite and clear understanding of adaption translation,offering translation practice methodological guidance.
