"Puppy Headed" Dog Food Packaging Design Report

With the progress of the times, the pet dog has become one of the members of most families. They not only bring happiness to a single ordinary family, but also realize the harmony between man and animal, which is very important to us. As the pet dog gets more and more attention from the owners and there are many kinds of pet dog food brands in the market, the owners have changed from the pursuit of basic practicability of pet dog food to the intention of dog food brand. The pet dog owners demand even higher quality dog food packaging design which reflects the brand image. When designers do the pet dog food packaging design, they need to consider dog food, the need of pet dogs and pet dog owners, so that they can form the style with the domestic characteristics on the premise of ensuring the quality of dog food to improve the image of domestic pet dog food brand and to increase its market share.The graduation design about dog food packaging of "Master of Puppies" is based on the research of the pet dog food market. The classification of pet dog food, the dog food packaging materials, consumer group positioning and dog food brands are analyzed systematically in this design. Through the breakthrough of design of packaging material and packaging structure and the contrast design techniques of color, text, graphics, we combined our design with the domestic dog food brand culture to design domestic high end brand dog food packaging.
