A Contrastive Study Of Chinese And English Phenomenon

Many Chinese and English common words have two or more different parts of speech, that is to say,Both Chinese and English has the same phenomenon that words belong to more than one class. The article use three approaches of quantitative and qualitative analysis,comparison and analysis, describe and explain to help people study the multi-category words in English and Chinese,we focus on the phenomenon from three aspects:first,show statistics and types of multi-category words in Chinese and English,then make the necessary analysis; Second,give the cognitive explanation to the multi-category words in Chinese and English; Third,classify multi-category words according to the meaning of relationship between the individual word, then analysis and contrast the classification.
