Enlightenment thought in the ancient society spread already a long time, which issubject to the rulers of dynasties. Social education has various forms and ways. In thepropaganda of enlightenment thought in the process of the pulps with its uniqueness,became the carrier of culture and knowledge, occupying the important status in theenlightenment campaign.The Dunhuang Bianwen as a kind of recovered folk literature speech class, forthe study of Sui and Tang Dynasty popular in social enlightenment thought from theFive Dynasties period provides new information. In aristocratic monopoly educationand cultural resources of ancient Chinese society, stresses sing literature happy forpeople, easy to spread, not only is the main entertainment, ordinary people is also amain way to learn about social norms, therefore also become dynasties ruler and eachsect the civilians to the important tool of ideology and doctrine. The it into theexisting data, although Bianwen evolved by Buddhist scripture a speech of literaryworks, but from the perspective of the content of speaking, but is not limited to theBuddhist doctrine, also involves the historical stories and folk tales, which containsmany enlightenment idea of Confucianism and Taoism and Chinese traditional ethics.This article mainly from the following five aspects analysis and study ofBunhuang Bianwen enlightenment ideas.The first part examines the background and cause of the Dunhuang Bianwen.Through the analysis of the literature of Wei and Jin Dynasty to the Tang Dynastypopular, explore the Dunhuang Bianwen and Six Dynasties mystery novels anddevelopment between the Tang Dynasty legend. Speech Bianwen serves as a kind offolk entertainment, its emergence and development with Sui, Tang and Five Dynastiesperiod of the social environment and cultural atmosphere is intimately involved.The second part analyses the Dunhuang Bianwen in Confucianthought.Dominance of Confucianism in ancient feudal society, and its spirit haspenetrated into every aspect of ancient social life. To cater to the mainstream ideology,The Dunhuang Bianwen has absorbed many Confucian education content, through theanalysis of Fumu enzhong speaking text, Han Dynasty general Wangling bianwen,Hanpeng fu and so on, explore the implied the filial piety JieLie thought. The third part analyses the Dunhuang Bianwen contains Buddhist enlightenmentthoughts. Bianwen originated in Buddhist doctrine, the Buddhist concept of karmaand rebirth hell trial of education purpose is to persuade people to be good, had aprofound influence on Chinese traditional society. Through the analysis of the lushanyuangong story, the emperor taizong into ghost and so on, explore the results ofwhich contains the view and hell view.The fourth part analyzed the Taoism thought in the Dunhuang Bianwen. Taoismis Chinese indigenous religion, content is complex, its influence, though far inferior tothe Confucianism and Buddhism, but also has an important role in the ancient society.The enlightenment thoughts of Taoism and Confucianism, is based on filial pietyreflected in his religious ideas. Through the analysis of the Dunhuang Bianwen,Yejingneng poem, explore cultivate immortality of Taoism ofuda concepts behindthe enlightenment thought.The fifth part focuses on analyzing the characteristics of the enlightenmentthought in the Dunhuang Bianwen and significance. Enlightenment thought in theDunhuang Bianwen mainly lies in its content reflects the characteristics of threereligions fusion of modernity, and performing and regional transmission range. TheDunhuang Bianwen contains the practical significance of the enlightenment thoughthas a rich, reflects the values of the ancient feudal society, revealed the Tang and FiveDynasties period on the dark side of society, expressed the people at that time thespirit of yearning and value pursuit.In the collections of preaching the teachings of Buddhism include: karmicreincarnation and hell trial, which involves the Confucian thoughts of filial piety,among which the filial piety is regarded as the focus. It embodies the Buddhism in theafferent Chinese process so that it can meet the Chinese traditional ethical ideas,combining with the Confucianism filial piety and we can understand the Chinese andsecularization of Buddhism from a glimpse. In the collection of Taoist enlightenmentthoughts mainly conclude ever-young and abracadabra magic. In addition, Bianwenalso reflects the phenomenon of the era of Sui Tang and Five Dynasties period offrequent wars, political instability, corruption, people tranquil life etc.The various enlightenment thought in the collection of Dunhuang is a true portrayal of teaching activities of Sui Tang and Five Dynasties period. Through theanalysis of Bianwen contents, it is not difficult to find that though at that time therewas a saying of the concretion of the three religions, compared with Buddhism,Taoism, Confucianism still had a dominant position and it was the mainstreamideology. Since Confucianism position was unshakable, it prompted the Buddhistmissionary in the process of absorbing, drawing on many of Confucianism and it alsoadapted to Chinese traditional ethics so as to reduce the resistance for their fight formore believers.A variety of enlightenment thought in the Dunhuang Bianwen, is a realportraiture of the enlightenment activities during Sui, Tang and Five Dynastiesperiod. Although part of the traditional enlightenment thought has does not apply tocontemporary, but because of the fun, fit forms of enlightenment, and reflects the erasignificance, is worth further exploration.
