China and Myanmar are neighbouring countries, there is a profound friendship over the years. The two countries both in the history, geography, social and economic have a close relationship. "Chinese hot" swept the world in recent years, Burma also is affected by this, In Myanmar addition to domestic Chinese, burma people began to pay more and more attention to Chinese language, the number of people learning chinese is increasing. Burma’s Chinese education have two different mode of education, chinese education and chinese teaching respectively. Chinese language education is a pointer to the burmese chinese teaching of Chinese, and chinese teaching is for the burmese chinese teaching, belong to the second language teaching. The above two kinds of teaching modes are closely related with the Chinese culture, is inseparable from the learning of chinese culture. Because learning a language is to learn the language culture, in the process of learning the target language without understanding its culture,at that time communication will produce some conflicts due to cultural differences and obstacles.At the same time, in all the elements in the language, vocabulary and culture are most closely,especially the existence of a large number of cultural words in vocabulary, learners is often difficult to grasp and to understand and use easily lead to errors. Therefore, to make the learners use the target language smoothly communication, to avoid misunderstandings and conflicts in communication, culture words learning is not allow to ignore. Based on myanmar’s use of "Great Wall Chinese" series textbooks as the research sample, and on the cultural words in the textbooks, compares and analyses the main meaning of Chinese-Burmese culture words, On the basis of summarizing the problems in the cultural words teaching for the burmese chinese learners cultural words teaching strategy, And the "Great Wall Chinese" use some Suggestions in Myanmar. I am from the following three aspects to research and finish this paper.The first part:introduce the characteristics of the "Great Wall Chinese" series of teaching materials and its usage in Burma, The current situation of Chinese culture teaching in Burma, explained and discussed. The necessity and importance of culture teaching.The second part:the cultural words in the "Great Wall Chinese" series of textbooks comparative study of Chinese-Burmese meaning. This chapter will the cultural words to statistics to the teaching material, and do Chinese-Burmese comparative analysis.The main analysis from the following four aspects:1. Chinese-Burmese cultural words having the same or similar concept and connotative meaning2. Chinese-Burmese cultural words with the same concept meaning but different connotative meaning3. Chinese-Burmese words with same concept meaning, Chinese has the connotation meaning while Myanmar doesn’t.The third part:the problems and relevant teaching Suggestions. Through the author’s teaching internship and classroom observations during collected the period of case analysis, discuss the difficulties and problems of The Burmese Chinese cultural words teaching, and through their own thinking to give some teaching Suggestions.
