The Rise And Fall Of The Country In The Warring States Period And Its Influence

The Yue state in the Warring States era was an important period in the Chinese history. This article is about the history of Yue state in the Warring States period from Goujian to Yushan for about three hundred years. There were some important events in this period like the rising of Yue state in the early stage of the Warring States period, the decline and tumble in the middle,and the extinction of Yue state in the later period of the Warring States era. This paper also talks about the relationship between the Yue state in the Warring States era and the extinction of Qin Dynasty in the Julu battle. In consequence, the brave spirit which the Yue state in the Warring States Period succeeded from the Wu state and Yue state in the Spring and Autumn period made the Qin Dynasty who Unified China go to extinct and be defeated by Xiang Yu and his Chu army. This paper also consults to the Tsinghua Bamboo Slips.This article will discuss the history of the Yue state in the Warring States era from five aspects:The first part focuses on the rising of Yue state in the early stage of the Warring States period, and talks about the relationship between the Yue state and the state of Chu, Jin, Qi. It also talks about the location of the capital Langya, and the reason of the capital moving.The second part discusses the decline and tumble of the Yue state in the middle of the Warring States era and the reason. There are also some introduction about the tombs of Yue state and the political reform of Wu Qi in the Chu state.The third part talks about the extinction of Yue state in the later period of the Warring States era and the founded of the Jiangdong County by the Chu state.This part also talks about the reason why the state of Yue who was a powerful chief in the Spring and Autumn period went to extinct in the Warring States period.The fourth part pays attention to the government of the Chu state in the Jiangdong Region after the extinction of the Yue state. At this stage, the Jiangdong Region experienced a process of" Huaxiaization".The last part is about the influence of the history of the Jiangdong Region in the Warring States era to the Qin and Han period. In conclusion, the brave spirit which the Yue state in the Warring States Period succeeded from the Wu state and Yue state in the Spring and Autumn period made the Qin Dynasty go to extinct and be defeated by Xiang Yu and his Chu army.
