A Study Of The Spatial Narrative In Mo Yan 's Novels

Mo yan has always insisted on writing since entering the literary world， andconstantly have new novels． In2012，Mo yan was awarded the Nobel Prize forliterature because of its magic realism and folklore，history and contemporary societytogether and this matter shook the whole Chinese literary world． Academic researchon works of Mo yan has been enduring，but,the space in narrative field didn＇t get theattention it deserves．This research paper focus on the angle of the space in narrative field， toresearch Mo yan＇s novel from several aspects such as the production of space in thenovel narrative，and the type, to interpert from Mo yan＇s novel spatial narrativelanguage，the use of narrative skill and the shape of space structure，finally wediscusses the value and the limitations of space narrative．The first part is an introduction of the research paper．This part mainlyintroduces the representative of space narrative point of view in the domestic andforeign theorists，and has carried on the classified analysis to the current researchstatus of Mo yan．Spatial narrative theory rich in content，but different in views.Domestic related theory of space narrative also carried on the thorough research，however,systemic slightly insufficient．Finally，this paper argues that from the Angleof space to interpert Mo yan’s novels is necessary．The second part is the formal article text．The reason why Mo yan＇s novel is fullof the space narrative，one respect is the experience himself and also closely related tohis conscious skill，of course closely related to his superb skills in language．Thephysical space and the virtual psychological space constitutes Mo yan＇s novel．Theuse of the words and sentence patterns in the spatial words has the sense ofsurging．It＇s a common thing in the use of the Stream of consciousness，and the useof narrative techniques in his works. Of course，it is the use of the space narrative thatmakes Mo yan＇s works a unique personal style．However，the space narrative also bring some limitations in their novel＇s reading，for example，it makes some partsdifficult in their reading．The last part is the conclusion of this paper， it summarized the closelyassociation between the style of the works of Mo yan and spatial narrative．To interpret works of Mo yan from the perspective of spatial narrative makes it anew perspectives for the formation of it＇ｓworks style．Of course，we should correctthe dialectical view for the use of space narrative．Only fully understand and grasp thetime and space of narration， we can more fully grasp the unique charm of the literaryworks．...
