Analysis On The Problems And Solutions Of Cultural Differences In Thai Chinese Teaching

Language is a part of a culture, language is also fundamental element of a culture, and every language is related to the culture. When We teach other people Chines, it is not only a language teaching but also a spread of a culture. During the culture communication process, it is bound to experience three stages of development:cultural contact, cultural conflict, and cultural integration. Cultural conflict present the most vital effect on language teaching.Although the different ethnic cultures have in common,but because the process of historical development of all ethnic groups, different living environment and lifestyle, more demonstration of different cultural characteristics, the formation of cultural differences between peoples. Different cultures have something in common, but because of the history process, living environment and lifestyle, the cultures own more distinctive features. When cultural differences occur, the differences will be perfect solved if the instructor to use reasonable and proper solution, it enables the students to get deep understanding of cultural differences, and the differences will promote the two cultures to be reasonable absorption, and have a great benefit of teaching. On the contrary, if the differences can not be reasonably analyzed, it will have a negative effect on result and lead to differences and cultural barriers. Moreover the language teaching will be interrupted. So how to reasonably face cultural differences, and use it, solve it and make it in the integration stage of culture development it is extremely important in Chinese teaching career.There are many differences between China and Thai, for example they belongs to different political organization, religion, language, foot and also have different custom, during the teaching activities of Thailand, it will produce some of the problems of cultural differences. This paper focuses on some current authoritative books, journals and scholars views According to the author’s internship experience in Thailand, through comparative analysis of the cultural differences between China and Thailand in order to identify the causes of cultural differences, and find out teaching examples with specific forms of cultural differences. By a detailed analysis of the teaching examples, the author hope to gives some effective strategies on teachers and students’ cultural differences in Thailand, she also look forward to offer several advice to the teacher who teach Chinese in Thailand. And give Chinese teachers some inspiration and help tips in Thai teaching.
