In the past more than 40 years of reform and opening up,there has been extensive dissemination and exchange between Chinese and Western cultures.At the same time,we find that there are various differences between the two cultures.In this context,this article takes "Dragon" culture as an example,from the "dragon" image and cultural significance of two angles,respectively,combing the development and evolution of the"dragon"Culture in China and the west.The "Dragons" in China and the West have their similarities in the early days:In appearance,they all look like snakes;They all reflect the ideas of the ancestors'reproductive worship;In their respective cultural classics,there are records of"Dragon Butcher".The "Dragon" culture has developed to this day.The Western "dragon" has the evil meaning and the derogatory color is heavier.And the Oriental "dragon" symbolizes auspicious,take-off,often with a good hope.In terms of group influence,compatriots at home and abroad recognize this collective identity——the heirloom of"Dragon",and "dragon" has become the spiritual bond of the sons and daughters of China,and it is the "totem" of the Chinese nation.And the Western"dragon,because of its negative side,has not risen to the collective level.However,because of their negative side,the West's "Dragons" did not rise to the collective level.In the process of cross-cultural communication,upholding the attitude of "seeking common ground while reserving differences"is a key step in reducing cultural diaphragm and friction and improving understanding and communication.In the process of teaching Chinese as a foreign language culture,it is the consciousness of international Chinese educators to actively develop the classical cultural image,enrich the content and form of the classroom,and arouse the enthusiasm and interest of learners to the greatest extent.Chinese culture has a long history,extensive and profound,in the inheritance and innovation to excavate the classic image of Chinese culture,the promotion of excellent culture to more countries,is an important measure of the cultural revival of the Chinese nation,but also an effective way for Chinese culture to"go out".
