Gan Berlin, the contemporary blind erhu artist, music educator, the leader of special education. In his life with Erhu, his creation and performance works like song of Mongol stringed instrument, song of Xiangjiang River, were made records, CDs, and played on Central radio station one after another several times, while he also performed oversea, and his influence was around at home and abroad. Mr. Gan Bailin served as a professor at Jilin College of The Arts, China Blind Association chairman, vice chairman of China Disabled Persons Federation, A member of the CPPCC National Committee in his life, and was known as "contemporary Huayanjun". He held the erhu Recital in many Chinese cities like Peking, Changsha, Taipei, Hongkong, and Changchun. He is not only the erhu player, but also a social activist, in the year 1983, Under the impetus of the Gan Bailin, the first institution of higher education for the disabled Chinese, Special education college of Changchun University was founded, it changed the fate of the disabled people. While he was also an educator, for 60 years hardworking as a teacher, he educated many erhu players for China.Combined with related videos and paperwork, the paper researched the experience of Gan berlin from the aspects like his road of performing arts, teaching thought and method, artistic achievement and the development and dissemination of erhu art which is a traditional national musical instrument, so as to make a sample for the Inheritance and education of Erhu Art.
