Satoshi Kon is an important representative among contemporary Japanese animated films groups, ranked after Kai Miyazaki, Katsuhiro Otomo, Mamoru Oshii, the fourth one of the world’s most reputed Japan animation master. His animation perspective is "the human spirit and society" that indicates the essence of reality, which is hiding under a world of fantasy.The chapter of Narrative strategies explains the works for construction of virtual space and the resulting narrative significance in detail, as well as the unique clip means constructing a multidimensional interlaced stereo narrative time and space.In the chapter of Ideological implication, the unified theme of Kon’s animation of virtuality and reality intertwine is revealed by descriptive characteristics and comparison. Trapped in the fantasy maybe inevitable. Heart is the master key to the future survival of fantasy and reality, rediscover themselves and return to real life would be the final destine.The chapter of Creative sense describes the significant impact on live action film-making of Kon’s animation. The way of being thought adultly has run through the whole work. Chinese animation can inspired and benefit from analyzing and extracting the essence of his animation.Based on the above analysis, I think, Kon has a deep sense of social responsibility, his work is full of philosophical reflection on human, technology and society, this kind of mind is deeply rooted in Japanese culture and the Japan society.
