This paper mainly studies the creation of meta-film and related issues.The appearance of meta-film is a representation phenomenon referred to in the film text,which embodies the "deconstruction" and "centrifugation" of grand narrative by the 20 th century cultural theory.From the perspective of film narrative,the discourse construction of meta-movies shows the internal logic of the modern linguistic turn and the spirit of fan film.On the other hand,from the perspective of film mechanism,it marks the internal reflexivity and the exposure of ontological consciousness of the camera media mechanism.The connotation of meta-film is rich.In a broad sense,all films related to cinematic nature can be called meta-film,including homage or imitation,remake or adaptation at the film content level;In a narrow sense,meta-film refers to self-reference behavior with the awareness of camera exposure,thus reflecting the process of film production and the psychological mechanism of film viewing.Meta-film is not a film school,nor is there a special film theory that can fully explain meta-film,nor can it be classified by commercial film,niche film or art film.However,when we excavate the practice of meta-film in the history of film from the perspective of media archaeology,we can clearly find that meta-film has always carried out breakthroughs and innovations in "who is watching","how to see" and "what to see" around the issues of narrative text,film language and film mechanism.If the ideographic and interpretation of any text is dependent on the previous text,the discussion of meta-film is to discuss the film’s response to the collapse of the existing discourse system,and to deconstruct the traditional film myth from the language.In this paper,the creative research of meta-film is to think about the genetic mechanism and practical level of meta-film.As a research framework,this paper is not limited to the enumeration and discussion of language structure,combined paragraphs,narrative time and space or viewpoint relationship in traditional narratology,but starts from the text chain level,that is,the internal connection of the three intertwined artists,artworks and audiences,and puts forward ideas for the construction of various elements of the creation of meta-film.The first chapter is the introduction,and the second chapter clarifies the concept of "meta" and the triple form of meta-film;The third chapter gives a theoretical explanation of the text generation and fan spirit of the meta-film creation;The fourth chapter starts from the narrative mechanism of the meta-film and the exposure consciousness of the media,discusses the self-exposure and manifestation of the film mechanism in the creation of the meta-film with specific cases,and analyzes it in combination with personal graduation works.
