Making friends, as a part of social life and a common form of ancient interpersonal communication, inevitably enters the literary works and has become a part of literary works and even become a theme of literary works. Research on making friends in literary works not only studies the literary works and the thoughts of the writers, but also studies the social reality and the era, which has a certain significance. Shiji research has always been the focus of researchers, but whether it is the description of the ancient literary works making friends,or Shij making friends description research, did not cause enough attention in academic circles, research on the whole is relatively small. The first part of this thesis is the introduction. This chapter discusses the connotation of the word friend, the evolution of friend Lun in the status and development. The original meaning of friends refers to the brothers or father and son of the same clan or same tribe, including compatriots from the father, and from the father, son and brother. In Spring and Autumn and the Warring States Period, brother, father and son Lun gradually became independent from the Lun of friends. In the era of Confucius and Mengzi, friends had been basically changed from people related by blood to the ordinary people without blood relationship, which gradually closed to the modern meaning of friends. In the Confucian ethics, the Lun of friend, is in the end of the series, but it is extremely important. However, in Mohist ethics, friend is the first Lun.The main part of the article begins from the perspective of records of the historian text and divided the descriptions of making friends in Shiji. into three types:making friends by the moral, by wisdom and by privilege. These three types of friends are the first three chapters of the thesis. The first chapter discusses from the carefully making friends, Lixin treatment, for friends who are dead. Sima Qian described a lot about the people who had these qualities in Shiji. This kind of description represents a standard of making friends that Sima Qian agreed, which is an important part of Sima Qian’s view of making friends. The second chapter from the people good at knowing others, helping friends with wisdom, making friends widely, simpatico the two aspects to analyze the type of making friends by wisdom in Shiji, which is another important part of Sima Qian’s view of making friends. In the third chapter, making friends with privilege as the key point, analyzes fraud by friends, betrayed by friends or even be killed by a friend; When rich have many friends, when poor and lowly little friends; Friends become enemies; Valued material interests, official position, authority, salary, reputation when choosing friends. The description of this type of friends involves lots of articles, lots of people and lots of events in Shiji which can not be matched by the first two types of friends. The fourth chapter discusses the influence of the description of making friends in Shiji. This chapter, divided into two parts, separately discusses the influence of the description of making friends in Shiji. on the historical literature works of later history and the influence on other literary works later. The second part is the key point, which emphasizes the influence of Shiji on the later literature such as articles, poems, drama, novels, and stories. The description of making friends by morality and wisdom expresses Sima Qian’s appreciation of the wisdom between friends, and the description of making friends by privilege expresses that Sima Qian’s distain and worries of making friends in the center of privilege. Decent people choose friends necessarily upright is our primary consideration factors when making friends.Making friends by wisdom is the spiritual wealth that Shiji left us.In today’s society, making friends by privilege has still been cast aside. The socialist concept of honor and disgrace advocates that be united and help each other, don’t gain benefits at the expense of others; be honest and trustworthy, not profit-mongering at the expense of your values, which shows that for thousands of years, making friends by privilege is the wrong choice. In a word, the principles of choosing friends and making friends that Shiji carries forward, has accumulated into a broad national psychology of common sense, which has a significance of reference and guide for people today and is worth careful reading and further research.
