| Voice behavior as an active extra role behavior, it plays an important role in promoting the enterprise to get survival and development in the competitive and challenging situation. But previous studies of employee voice behavior, mostly concentrated on the extra behavior, and the lack of its behavioral intention. According to "behavioral intention model" of the theory of planned behavior, to predict the behavior of people, the best way is to understand their behavior intention. Researchers concluded, behavior as the individual behavior decision that members of the organization are willing to express their thoughts and opinions, it is largely influenced by personal characteristics and work attitude. And emotion as a main individual variable, it will affect employee behavior. In recent years, more and more domestic researchers begin to pay closed attention to the emotion mechanism of employee voice behavior. Emotional prediction as the development in the field of emotion research, quite a number of studies at both home and abroad have shown that there is a very closed connection between emotion forecasting and individual behavior decision-making.This study wants to explore the relationship between the emotion forecasting and the voice behavioral intention for the future voice behavior event, basing on the literature research and the analysis of organizational behavior management cases, and four voice event scenario materials were compiled and proved its reality and effectiveness to induced employee’s emotion forecasting. 578 general employees came from Yunnan, Hebei, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Xinjiang and other places were surveyed by the context questionnaire, purposing to investigate the priming characteristics of emotion forecasting and effect on employee’s voice behavioral intention. The results showed that the corresponding emotion forecasting can be induced by different valence of voice behavioral events; the positive emotion forecasting has a promoting effect on voice behavioral intention, and the negative emotion forecasting has inhibitory effect on voice behavioral intention. Further analysis showed that the effect mechanism of emotion forecasting with different valence on voice behavioral intention has both similarities and also have their own characteristics: strength of emotion forecasting with different valence had direct impact on employee’s voice behavioral intention not only, still could affect employee’s voice behavioral intention indirectly through duration of emotion forecasting; the relationship between the strength of negative emotion forecasting and voice behavioral intention was moderated by employee’s job satisfaction and psychological safety. |
