As a direct consequence of economic globalization, cultural globalization has had a huge impact on people’s lives. Many foreign cultural elements integrated into the national culture, integration and development, and in this process, translation, as cross-cultural communication, is the tie of national economy and philosophy, literature, and religion.Translation is not only the language of the conversion, but communication between language and its culture. To maintain its existence and development, any country and nation must uphold and carry forward the traditional culture and actively exchanges, learn from and integration with different cultures, this is played where the intercultural translation bridge.In this context, foreign language teaching materials are gradually into the "structure-function-culture" period, culture has become a focus in the textbook.Authors from learning a language the most important, but also the cultural response of most direct and vivid culture into in an attempt to study interpretation of Chinese culturally-loaded words in Chinese textbooks, and explore ways to better improve the teaching material of Chinese culturally-loaded words in culture.This paper examines several TCFL comprehensive textbooks and selects textbooks of elementary, intermediate and advanced level of Developing Chinese(Second Edition), and conducts a questionnaire survey and test of Yunnan University and Yunnan Normal University international students about Chinese culturally-loaded words. From the perspective of translation, this paper finds problems in interpretation of Chinese culturally-loaded words in the materials submitted, analyzes the causes of the textbook interpretation of Chinese culturally-loaded words. Combining with the results of questionnaires and tests for international students, this paper attempts to provide a valuable reference and methods to improve the interpretation of Chinese culturally-loaded words in TCFL textbooks.This paper is consist of six chapters. Chapter One presents the introduction of this article, including explanation of the causes, aims and significance of the research, research methods, and literature review; Chapter Two is the arrangement of Chinese culturally-loaded words and definition from the elementary, intermediate, advanced textbooks; Chapter Three presents specific problems and its reasons of interpretation of Chinese culturally-loaded words, including interpretation, definition problems such as inadequate; Chapter Four is the analysis of the test of Chinese culturally-loaded words on international students; Chapter Five is the suggestions for interpretation of Chinese culturally-loaded words and teaching Chinese culture-loaded words from the aspects of both textbook and teacher.
