A Study Of The Function Words In

“Zhong Yi Zhi Yan”(《忠义直言》)is a recently-discovered literature in Korea period,which is also a precious data for the spoken Chinese in the the turning of Yuan and Ming Dynasty.This paper mainly has mainly focused on the research of function words from“Zhong Yi Zhi Yan”and six chapters are involved in this discussion.The first chapter is an introduction of “Zhong Yi Zhi Yan”.The function words in this precious literature has got much of the corpus value.Methodology and basic structure are mentioned in the introduction part.The second part of the paper includes chapters from two to five.Adverbs,prepositions,conjunctions,and auxiliary from “Zhong Yi Zhi Yan” have been studied.The corpus are varied from middle ancient to modern Chinese.The counting of the function words is based on the semantic analysis and grammatical function.This research has shed light on the development and change of Chinese language.The conclusion part of the paper is chapter six,which has briefly summarized charccters of function words in “Zhong Yi Zhi Yan”;meanwhile, to pose new problems to be solved in the future.
