The main purpose of this paper is how to make foreign students use momentum complement correctly. Scholars research on the bias of complement momentum is less. Thurber thesis research on the momentum of the complement of teaching Chinese as a foreign language is often not enough in-depth.This paper from the foreign students learning Chinese momentum appeared problems in the process of complement. Using literature research summarized the research achievements of predecessors. Using questionnaire survey summarizes the errors made by the foreign students studying Chinese momentum complement. And carries on the analysis of errors to find out the foreign students use momentum bias occurs when complement rule. And finnally we put forward targeted teaching suggestions.This paper is divided into the following four parts:The first part is the introduction. There are three aspects: selected topic purpose and meaning, the research situation of this topic and the related research work of this paper. The first aspect introduced the purpose and significance of this paper. The second aspect discusses the research situation of this topic. It consist of the momentum on the ontology of complement research and research in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. The third aspect is the related research work presented in this paper. It consist of the research scope, research methods, theoretical basis and the source of corpus.The second part is the foreign students situation questionnaire momentum complement of the Chinese language. There are two aspects: the questionnaire of related problems and the statistics and analysis of questionnaire results. The first aspect is statistics the foreign students personal information and the momentum rate of the bias of complement. The second aspect analyz the students personal information and momentum bias complement rate.The third part is the foreign students useing Chinese momentum complement analysis of the errors. There are two aspects: the foreign students useing Chinese momentum the bias of complement types and the foreign students useing Chinese momentum bias of complement. The first aspect analysis of the the foreign students useing Chinese momentum complement the types of errors. It mainly consist of four types: the momentum complement adding type, the momentum complement loss type, the momentum complement improper collocation type and the momentum of the complement in the wrong order type. The second aspect explains the momentum of complement errors reason by the foreign students to use Chinese.There are the interference of negative transfer of mother tongue, the complexity of Chinese, the international students ability of internalization, the influence of teaching materials and teaching outline, the degree of teachers’ explanation.The fourth part is the foreign students Chinese momentum complement teaching Suggestions. There are two aspects: the emphasis and difficulty in momentum of the Chinese teaching complement and the foreign students Chinese momentum complement teaching methods. The first aspect is the focus of the content analysis of the momentum teaching complement to distinguish the similarities and differences in momentum word usage. The momentum of the complement of teaching difficulty is the momentum of the comparison and analysis of complement. The second aspect proposes four teaching methods: the “seeking common ground while putting aside differences” teaching style, the “give priority to in order to practice” teaching style, the “gain new insights through reviewing old material” teaching style and the “given to fish” teaching style.
